Constructed of 100% wool, it is hand-tufted by artisans and features a special hard-twist construction. In hard-twist, each wool tuft is given an extra twist that results in a highly textured, extremely hard-wearing final effect. The hard-twisted wool does not absorb all of the dye with the same amount of saturation, so the final look has a slight shimmer to it that increases the rug's originality and uniqueness.
