I'm using it under a braided rug on a tiled floor.
The rug is 4x6, and the only size available was 3x5 for the padding.
The pad is thin and doesn't adher to the floor.
It's proving to be a slippery situation.

I had a rug on a tile floor that I had slipped on several times because the rug moved when I stepped on it. After putting this mat underneath, it no longer slips and is much safer. I also bought a larger size so I could cut it into pieces and use under several rugs. Worked great.

Great rug gripper. Holds my runner on the tile floor of the kitchen perfectly! Works fine for high-traffic areas, does not stain floor.
